The Chattahoochee Early Learning Academy is an independent non- profit school with one classroom for 3 and 4 year-olds.
Point University students work as classroom assistants to the Lead Teacher. The daily schedule runs from 8:00 to 12:00 (with arrival between 7:30 and 8:00). Our curriculum aligns with the Georgia Early Learning & Development Standards (GELDS). CELA's environment supports best practices to foster children’s development through a play-based approach.
The week includes music, art, literacy, math-based manipulatives, large motor activities, discovery/science, blocks, dramatic play, stories, & small-group language activities focused on pre-reading skills. In addition, snacks and lunch are served daily. We have guest visitors from the community join the classroom to share educational experiences with the children.
